Good morning. This is one of the techniques I will be teaching
during the months of Feb and March 2012 in my mini class. It is using alcohol markers, vellum and Stampscapes stamps. I had so much fun and hope you will too!

Black Friday

Good morning. It is a beautiful day in Ironwood. The sun is shining and the snow has stopped but left a beautiful picture. I am so sorry I haven't posted for a long time. I am about moved to my apartment and I have been very busy with that. Sunday Nov. 20th I had 8 girls here for a birthday party, where they made journals. It was lots of fun.

Friday is Black Friday and I will be opening at 8am as will several downtown Ironwood businesses. I will be running specials from 8 to noon. What a wonderful day to shop locally. Stop in and see all the new items. Make a one of a kind glass ornament for $1.00 each.

Hope to see you soon.

Sunny and perfect in Ironwood

Good morning. I can't believe it took me two days to get the latest order marked and out. Why? So much new items and I had to make room. The Fall and Halloween stamps are here as are the papers. I also bought new alcohol markers and had the design team try them out. They love them. You can blend as nicely as the Copic and the price is wonderful.....5 in a set for $13.50...that's $2.70 each. What a deal!!

I have several card makers that are not stampers and I have been ordering with them in mind. Penny Black has some beautiful stickers for card making and I now have 7 different sticker sheets in stock.

Well it is a beautiful day and I hope it is as nice where you are. I'm off to finish my son's wedding invitation sample now that the order is done.
Happy Saturday! Becky

Do you like ribbon? I love it, especially now that I can make a pretty bow. (This took forever...Tamra and Cindy makes beautiful bows) Cindy and Debra selected lots of ribbon from a new company and hopefully it will be in next week. I added a few of my own selections, after all I am the owner. ( hope it is ok with them) There will be new ideas using the ribbon, so stay tuned!

It's Iron County fair weekend, so I will be slower today. It's a beautiful day for the fair and I hope the children that came in to decorate their spaces are having a blast. This should be a good day for me to catch up on projects.

I had two ladies take a mini class yesterday. I love teaching these as it is a way for me to spend quality time with a customer.

The woodless colour pencils from Koh-I-Noor are here. They really are great to use. They are ALL color and blend so nicely. Cindy has used them on Riley the moose samples, so please stop in and admire them and try the pencils out!

Until another day...hugs!

A lazy afternoon

It was a busy morning and a lazy afternoon. I have the windows open and am listening to the traffic going by. Yes there is traffic in Ironwood. One of my favorite little guys came by and he punched pink maple leaves after playing in the play area.
The Halloween and fall papers have been arriving and I can hear scrapbooking calling me. I do need to get busy as my grandson will be a senior this year and I only have about 10 pages done. Tamra was busy this morning crafting for her class coming up. The jewelry she made is beautiful. Sign up for it...August 19th. She also made a pin that would be perfect for a teacher's gift...or anyone else.

Happy crafting!

Rainy day

"Rainy day in Georgia"...wait I'm in Michigan. It's really coming down, a good day to stamp. That's what I been doing....catching up on my card making. The owners of McRice papers asked me to use their card making papers and make some samples. They are so nice for "men" cards or anyone that loves the outdoors.

The newest in stamping and scrapbooking have been arriving weekly. It has been a challenge to find the perfect way to display. New fall, Halloween and Christmas stamps and papers are here. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with all the new products...but I'll find a way through it all. (poor me!) If you see something you would like me to carry, just email or call...leave a message here. I will do my best to get it.

Guess I better get back to the stamping. Keep dry.
